The aim of this competition is to encourage Junior handlers to compete against their peers in the sport of Agility and prepare them for their future competitions.
•Open to all handlers who were born on or after 20th May 2007
• Open to all levels and all heights.
• There will be a separate competition for each height including select heights but only the 5 regular height leagues will qualify for the Junior Masters at the Grand Finals.
• The way to qualify for the Junior Open final is through a Junior league table taken from normal Agility 4 All Class results. (10 spots per height).
• A dog may only run in one final, if it qualifies in two heights or with two handlers the dogs A4A registered owner will decide which final and with which handler the dog runs with.
• The Final will be held at the Agility 4 All Grand Finals and follow the Junior Masters Rules.
• Junior handlers will be contacted shortly after the close of the league via the email address on their handler account and if they have not confirmed attendance by 30th September they will lose their spot.
• Agility, Jumping, Games and Steeplechase classes held at A4A shows from 1st January 2025 until 31st August 2025 will offer the opportunity for Juniors to gain points.
• Only classes with A4A progression points will count with progression points being used for the league.
• Points for the league may be gained in both regular and select heights as each will have its own league. However only the regular height leagues will qualify for the Junior Masters at the Grand Finals.
• If a partnership compete in two different heights over the year they will appear in both league tables.
• Junior handlers must include their Date of Birth on their A4A account to be eligible for the league. The league will automatically include handlers with eligible DOB
• The Junior Masters rules will adhere to the standard rules of the regular Masters however course level should be A4A Senior with course time also set using Senior course times.
• There will be a maximum of 22 obstacles permitted.
• Only regular heights will be available at the Grand Finals.
A bursary of £50 will be awarded to each height winner at the Grand Finals. The bursary must be spent on Dog agility training and will be paid on submission of the receipt for training.
